Prior to entering the finance industry, Joe served as a Naval Officer in both Navy Special Ops and Surface Warfare. As a surface warfare officer, he commanded aircraft carrier battle group air defenses in Desert Shield/Desert Storm. In the special ops arena, Joe was integral in the planning of and preparation for missions and exercises for Navy Seals. He received his B.S. from the U.S. Naval Academy
